We started Global Networks Investment (GNI) with a grand vision. Besides training and consulting on business networking, we wanted to create a platform to connect local businesses that share common interests with their counterparts abroad. Back then it was just an idea, but today it is a reality. The concept that has been tried and tested and is now anchored on a model that has proven to be sustainable.
Perhaps what we celebrate the most is the fact that the service has opened up opportunities for our clientele, great opportunities that even ourselves never thought were possible. Increasingly, more and more business people willing to venture into new economic territories are seeking our services. And our humble duty remains connecting them with their ideal international business partners, supplier or customer. Equally, international business men and women are constantly looking for ‘like minded businesses’ back here in Kenya to initiate and foster mutually beneficial business relationships. GNI creates that link.
As the CEO and Lead Consultant of Global Networks Investment, I have a role to ensure that we live up to our promise of successfully connecting businesses for the benefit of our clients. Being an avid business networker, I must appreciate the aspect of expanding networks globally through pursuing deep and concrete relationships with people.
Dubai, for instance, comes top on our list as one such place. It’s vibrant business ecosystem makes it a hotbed of opportunities that can birth successful business partnerships. To plug into these opportunities, I registered as a member of the Dubai Business Women Council, an initiative of the Dubai Chamber. I’m officially a certified member.
